| The measuring and examination system RIB 2000 supports the defence industry and military user in doing quality control and inspection of wear on the inside surfaces of gun barrels. It can be utilised within the production processes and for inspecting the wear resulting from actual use of an area of large-bore gun barrel inspections. |

RIB 2000 consists
of an insertion unit with built-in sensors, two integrated high-resolution
cameras and a control and evaluation unit. The digital cameras provide
images of highest resolution. The new LCD flat screen displays feature
optimum performance in confined space. For the work in the exterior
the computer hardware is integrated into a portable container system. This unique complete system allows the user to inspect the inside of virtually all large-bore guns. It also handles measuring and documentation of defects with our special control, measuring and database software OptiScan ImageBase.
The application-oriented
software OptiScan ImageBase includes modules for image measuring and
a high-performance image database for archiving.
A simple user interface, central interface management and the integration
of all control parameters let the user work safely and comfortably.
The system guarantees the 100% exact archiving and reproduction of
all data (e.g., measured data, camera parameters, lighting parameters). |
